Thanks to the Frostbite engine, the horror and immersion are raised to a new level for the franchise in the new edition with breathtaking graphics, sound and controls. Fans will experience improved storylines, characters, gameplay mechanics and more as they battle to survive a nightmare come true aboard the abandoned dismantling spaceship USG Ishimura and uncover the ghastly mystery of the fate of the crew and ship in the process.

Story

In Dead Space, Isaac Clarke is an ordinary engineer on a mission to repair the huge and sprawling USG Ishimura spaceship, only to find out that something has gone terribly wrong. The ship’s crew was slaughtered and infected by something strange – and Isaac’s beloved partner Nicole is on board somewhere. Now, alone, armed with only his tools and technical skills, Isaac must try to solve the nightmarish mystery of what happened aboard the Ishimura. Isaac is locked up together with hostile creatures, the so-called “necromorphs”, and not only fights against the escalating horrors of the ship, but also increasingly threatens to lose his mind.
