Electronic Arts and Maxis announced new content for The Sims 4, including the upcoming Blooming Rooms set. There is also a free base game update with new gameplay features, the so-called “scenarios”.
As part of the Season of Selves, these content updates are designed to stimulate players’ creativity and discovery, and enable them to play in a new way and celebrate the different sides of their Sims.
The Sims 4 Blooming Rooms Set
The new set offers us the opportunity to decorate our rooms with lush greenery and create a modern retreat in our homes. The Sims are inspired to bring nature into their own four walls with magnificent plants and to breathe new life into every room.
Players: Inside can enjoy the calming atmosphere of the surrounding growth, which, with leafy details and natural beauty, transforms ordinary household items into living decorations. Potted and hanging plants can turn any room into a green paradise and make Sims feel like they’re living in a greenhouse.
The Sims 4 Blooming Rooms Set * will be released on November 9th for PC and Mac via Origin and Steam as well as for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
A new way of playing: The Sims 4 adds scenarios
In addition, a free base game update for The Sims 4 is now available on all platforms, adding so-called “scenarios” that open up new possibilities us to play and explore.
Scenarios are goal-based stories in the game in which the decisions of us influence the outcome – just like in real life. This update introduces the challenge scenarios “Looking for love after the breakup” and “Raking in coal”. In addition, there is also the time-limited scenario “Too Many Small Children”, which will be available from November 3rd to 6th.
