Electronic Arts and Velan Studios announced that Knockout City Season 4: Alien Invasion begins December 7th. Unknown creatures land in the world of the team-based Dodgeball title and all of us trying to save our city are guaranteed to encounter obstacles.
The city police commissioner has mobilized the Knockout City Defense Force to fight these intergalactic invaders, and the DJ has teamed up with a mysterious caller to connect with the cosmic creatures and learn more. The new season of Knockout City brings a variety of new content, including a new map, vehicles, events and much more.
The new gameplay content for Knockout City Season 4 includes
- A new map: Alien Butterflies – We find ourselves on a floating farm, over which a number of UFOs have crashed. This map introduces a unique mechanic that allows rowdies to jump on flying saucers and soar over abysses at lightning speed without losing the ball’s charge.
- New events and playlists – We can get ready for anything in season 4 thanks to almost non-stop events and further action in new playlists. In the coming months there will be four new, two-week events in Knockout City, each with a completely new game mode, each with its own exclusive rewards.
- A brand new Rowdy Pass – In season 4, all of us start again at level 1 and work our way through 100 new levels with which the rowdies can unlock numerous new exclusive alien rewards. There will be five weekly contracts, new Holobux offers and more. In addition, we keep any rewards earned through previous Rowdy Passes.
- And much more – We get access to the aliens’ UFOs, which we can use as crew vehicles, a new energy drink: the pass grenade, new bundles and items in the store that change every day.
EA and Velan have also released a PlayStation blog post that gives fans an in-depth look at what’s happening in Season 4, including insights into the new card design process, tips and tricks for floating on UFOs, and more details on the Rowdy Pass.
Knockout City is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Origin, Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as, thanks to upward compatibility, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S.
