Cricket 22 – Released

Nacon and Big Ant Studios, in partnership with the England and Wales Cricket Board and Cricket Australia, announced the release of Cricket 22: The Official Game of The Ashes.

Cricket 22 builds on Big Ant Studios’ cricket simulations from the past decade and adds a new twist to the experience. For the first time in 4K resolution, an advanced new graphics engine, a narrative career mode and the most extensive selection of licenses and game modes in a cricket game to date, Cricket 22 gives all fans the opportunity to experience their sport their own way.

“We loved making a game of cricket for the new generation – the creative opportunities it gave us really helped take Cricket 22 to the next level,”. “From the licenses to the new career mode and commentary team, we’ve worked hard to make sure this game will surprise and delight both veterans and new players alike.”

Cricket 22 not only includes the traditional Ashes tournament, but has also been given numerous additional licenses and has been greatly expanded. Cricket fans will experience the Australian Big Bash T20, the innovative The Hundred in England and the tropical CPL of the Caribbean – and compete internationally with fully licensed teams from Australia, England, the West Indies, New Zealand and Ireland.

Cricket 22 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. The version of Cricket 22 for Nintendo Switch will follow in January 2022.
