Warner Bros. Games and DC unveiled a story trailer for Gotham Knights, the upcoming third-person, open-world action RPG from Warner Bros. Games Montréal.
First shown at the DC FanDome, the video focuses on the game’s main antagonist, the infamous Court of Owls, a secret society made up of the wealthiest families in Gotham City.
The trailer also introduces Oswald Cobblepot (aka the Penguin), the infamous DC super villain who apparently has important details about this ubiquitous silent predator and the threat it poses to Gotham and its new guard of DC superheroes – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin will have to arm themselves for this new enemy.
During the DC FanDome, Warner Bros. Games and DC also gave a peek at a Gotham Knights – Behind The Scenes by Jim Lee (comic book artist, editor and chief creative director of DC), Scott Snyder (author and one of the creators of “The Court of Owls”) Greg Capullo (comic book artist and one of the creators of “The Court of Owls”), Patrick Redding (creative director of Gotham Knights, Warner Bros. Games Montréal) and Ann Lemay (Narrative Director of Gotham Knights, Warner Bros. Games Montréal), elaborating on the origins of the Council of Owls, its history and the inspiration behind this treacherous new enemy in the interactive world of Gotham Knights.
