Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios today release the free December update for Back 4 Blood, which includes a solo offline campaign mode with a progression system, themed holiday content in the game, new maps, new map types and many game quality improvements.
As part of Back 4 Blood update, we can now jump into a solo offline campaign mode with a progression system and earn supply points, achievements and other unlockable extras. In addition, any progress can also be transferred to the online campaign mode. The December update also introduces wandering merchants who provide a time-limited opportunity to receive rewards that can be unlocked by players with supply points.
This will also allow them to unlock the seasonal character skins, weapon skins, emblems, and graffiti, including the ability to get a reindeer antler headband for Holly, a snow hat for Doc, and other holiday celebration gear. All of this is further supplemented by festive decorations in Fort Hope, so that a really festive mood arises. In addition, we can expect new cards called “Burn Cards” that can be purchased by roaming merchants. These can be used in any hideout for temporary effects like instant healing, a boost on currency, increased resistances, and more.
