Formula 1 – Carlos Sainz first part released

Codemasters and Electronic Arts are releasing the first part of a series of content starring Spanish Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz as part of the official F1 2021 video game campaign. In the video, he invites viewers to “discover the talent in themselves” while driving an off-road vehicle through the Spanish mountains.

Filmed from the perspective of Sainz as a player and go-kart driver in his childhood up to the present day, Carlos tells of his desire to keep pushing the limits on his way to becoming Formula 1 world champion.

After joining Ferrari this season, Carlos Sainz played a key role in ensuring that the team finished third in the Formula 1 constructors’ championship as the best points collector. Carlos Sainz ended the season with a personal best of four podium places and scored points in 20 of the 22 races. He was the only driver on the grid to finish every race he started.

Paul Jeal, F1 Senior Franchise Director at Codemasters said: “Given that this year’s title contenders made the most of the headlines, it should be remembered the incredible accomplishments Carlos showed in the 2021 season, we’re very excited to be working with Carlos and looking forward to having more content coming soon that focuses on his love for FIFA.”
