In a new video for WRC 10, NACON and KT Racing Studio show the creativity of the community, which they have demonstrated in the livery editor. The official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship is already available.
More than 30,000 liveries have been created since the game was released. Additional statistics from KT Racing also show that a total of around 19 million special stages were completed, which corresponds to an average of around 200,000 routes played per day.
The livery editor: a fan favorite to customize
A major new feature of WRC 10 is a comprehensive vehicle customization tool that invites the community to let their imaginations run wild. With WRC 10 it is now possible to create completely unique liveries based on around thirty vehicles in the WRC, WRC 2, WRC 3 and Junior WRC categories, but also on the historic vehicles of the game. With a variety of colors, shapes, stickers, logos and lettering, fans can live out their individual style and flaunt it in career mode.
“Franjo” wins the competition for the most beautiful paintwork
With his concept of using all available tools from WRC 10, “Franjo” with its detailed paintwork prevailed: Its paintwork is both a homage to rallying and at the same time an allusion to the 50th anniversary of the World Rally Championship in 2022 .
KT Racing Game Director Alain Jarnou said: “Congratulations to everyone who participated, and especially to Franjo for his work and creativity, Franjo designed not only a complex, but also a well-balanced livery. The new livery editor for WRC 10 is a feature that we were initially unsure of how the fans would react to, but which changed within a very short time as a great success paid off. “
The reigning WRC E-Sports World Cup champion Nexl landed in second place, while Noel, DioxZy and Kai Schröder took the first five places.
WRC 10 is already available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC and will also be available in stores for Nintendo Switch at a later date.
