BANDAI NAMCO Europe announced that .hack // G.U. LAST RECODE digital will be released on March 11, 2022 on Nintendo Switch. The “The .hack // G.U.” Franchise brings together two well-known personalities from the Japanese animation scene.
One of the two personalities is Ito Kazunori (Mobile Police PATLABOR) and the other is Sadamoto Yoshiyuki (Neon Genesis Evangelion) have together created a futuristic JRPG that focuses on “The World”, a virtual reality MMORPG that has consequences for the real world brings with it.
We take on the role of Haseo, who wants to find the player killer Tri-Edge. On this he wants to get revenge for his friend Shino, because he was killed in the game, which put him in a coma in real life. The LAST RECODE Remaster, which was previously released for the PS4, includes the three titles & Rebirth Reminisce Redemption and releases the fourth and final story, & Reconnection, now fully restored and remastered on Nintendo Switch to mark the 20th anniversary of the franchise celebrate.
