After taking over eleven studios over the past three years, NACON is consolidating its position as a developer-publisher by strengthening its know-how in the production of high-quality titles with the latest transaction.
NACON announced that the signing of a protocol for the wholly owned acquisition of crea-ture Studios has been completed. With this transaction, NACON is promoting the remarkable know-how of the development team specializing in the development of skateboarding titles. The takeover of crea-ture Studios helps to strengthen NACON’s position in the promising niche of sports simulations for PCs and consoles.
About Crea-ture Studios
Crea-ture Studios owes its reputation to the many years of experience of its founders and managers Marc-André HOUDE (20 years of experience in animation and environment creation at corporations such as Ubisoft, Square Enix, Warner) and Vincent DA SILVA (almost 25 years of experience in programming and project management at companies like Behavior, Hibernum and Warner). They will continue to lead the crea-ture Studios team, enjoying a high degree of autonomy to focus on the creative aspect of their productions while benefiting from the commercial, editorial and marketing support of the NACON teams.
Session was with the aim of offering “the most authentic experience” in the field of skateboarding simulations. originally planned for PC and Xbox One – and has been available as an Early Access title on Steam and as an Xbox Game Preview since September 2019. Based on the 86% positive reviews on Steam, a session was decided. as a full version for Xbox Series X | S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Nacon plans for the future
This new transaction is perfectly in line with NACON’s planning for 2023, which aims to make NACON a leading provider of AA video games.
NACON’s video games division will have twelve development sites (seven in France, one in Belgium, one in Italy, two in Canada and one in Australia) with a total of more than 500 developers, supported by a 60-strong publishing team.
