Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons – The third expansion

NCSOFT and ArenaNet today announced that Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons, the third expansion to the popular MMORPG, will be released on February 28, 2022. To mark the occasion, the studio is releasing a new gameplay trailer.

The gameplay trailer showcases many new elements of the expansion, that will bring by the end of the month, as well as offering a first look at the dangers that lurk in this lost land.Guild Wars 2 was originally released in 2012 and is considered one of the leading MMORPGs.

End of Dragons is the game’s third expansion and takes place on the mysterious continent of Cantha – a region of the world that has been veiled in secrecy and intrigue for more than 200 years. On their journey, fans will uncover the secrets behind a mysterious substance called Dragon Jade, which powers the Canthan civilization’s unique technology.

New features

Several horizontal progression options such as Fishing and Skiffe (multiplayer sailing boats for up to five people) are added to the gameplay. Also new is the game’s first cooperative combat mount, the Siege Turtle, which offers new ways of locomotion and combat. Alongside the nine new elite specializations that change the core gameplay of each class, the large-scale open-world events return to the thriving new map areas. This ensures enormous replay value.

In addition to the new gameplay options, a new story takes fans on an epic adventure across the continent. New faces will also be added to the Guild Wars 2 family, bringing to light some of the oldest mysteries surrounding Tyria’s Elder Dragons.
