League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra launched Star Guardian Event

League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra launched the Star Guardian Event, a ten-week magical experience that will bring anime fans and fans of the games together through exciting events and in-game content.

The Star Guardian Event is Riot Games’ homage to the magical girl genre, an anime genre that empowers young women, promotes the value of friendship, and celebrates authentic self-expression. Like the series of content and skins previously released in League of Legends, Star Guardian is an alternate universe to the main game. It centers on a young group of champions who struggle with school relationships by day and the duties of a magical warrior by night.

The event kicks off with the release of “Everything Goes On,” a song that tells the story of two Star Guardians independently coming to terms with loss and deciding to move on with their new teammates. Musician Porter Robinson wrote, produced and sang part of the song. Everything Goes On is available on all major streaming platforms and the music video can be viewed on YouTube.

The fourth installment in the Star Guardian series features new faces and old fan favorites across three Riot games: League of Legends, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra.
