Call of the Wild: The Angler, the new genre-bending open-world fishing game from the studio behind theHunter: Call of the Wild, will be available on August 31st, 2022 for PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store.

Fans can discover a massive and diverse open world for up to 12 players in The Angler’s starting map, Golden Ridge Reserve. Inspired by the natural beauty and wonders of Northwest Wyoming, this tranquil paradise is a delight for us to explore by 4×4, boat, or on foot.

Key features of the game

• Atmospheric Open World: In the open world, stunning fishing spots along expansive waterways can be explored on foot, by boat, or by 4×4. We traverse the world at our own pace and discover winding rivers, high peaks, hidden ponds, springs and hiking trails.
• Diversity of Fish Species: Call of the Wild: The Angler offers fans different species of fish, such as thickmouth bass and mountain whitefish, each with unique behaviors that can be studied for catching.
• Character Customization and Become a Master Angler: The game offers various ways of customizing our character to become a master angler. We learn expert techniques and strategies for making the best catches, build our tackle collection and have access to a wide range of rods that adapt as our reel, float, hook and lure selection grows.
• Single or Multiplayer: Fans have the option of navigating open water solo or sharing the journey with friends in online drop-in, drop-out co-op multiplayer for up to 12 players. We can team up with other anglers and go on unforgettable expeditions together.
• Regular Updates: Call of the Wild: The Angler will continue to offer new, unforgettable fishing experiences post-launch with regular content updates.
